Happy Birthday Sam! Fancy Folds - Gift Card Holder

My nephew Sam is turning 8 tomorrow.  He is getting older and no longer is so into unwrapping gifts, he is more excited to get gift cards so he can get all the sports equipment he can.

I decided to make him this cute gift card holder instead of a card.  I made the gift card using the TJ Newsletter Fancy Folds & Motion CD.  It was so easy I whipped it up right before I left to go to his house for a cookout and cake.

The image on the top of the gift card is from KennyK downloads colored with copics. The inside stamps are inkadinkadoo (I think).

He was super excited.  I was excited because I forgot how quick and easy these were to make.  I made need to stock up and make some more to have on hand.

Have a crafty day and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Hunny

Hello All,

My husbands birthday was last week and I really wanted to come up with a cool card for him.  This card is made with a mustang coloring page from the internet colored with copics, sentiment is from Stampin Up!.  The background is a technique called Copic Stencils from the TJ Newsletter.  It has quickly become one of my favorite techniques as I have a lot of stencils and I love when I can utilize my copics.  It's nice to color in any color that tickles my fancy and to be able to create a background that matches.

My husband is a big Mustang fan and this one matches his convertible mustang that we love to cruise in.  Even though this one isn't a convertible...it's close enough.

He really liked the card and I hope you do too :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone,

I am back from my beach vacation and wow it was Hot, Hot, Hot!  I am happy to be in the air conditioning.  It has been extremely humid here in New England.  I enjoyed going to VT with my hubby this weekend and it was nice and cool at 68 degrees.

My friend Pete's birthday was a couple of weeks ago.  I made him a card with a firebird (his favorite) coloring page that I found on the internet.  I used the TJ Newsletter technique copic stencils and out of the box. The sentiment is from Stampin Up!  I love the way it came out.  I colored it with copics.  I used my distress inks on the outside of the card.

Stay tuned, I have my husbands birthday card tomorrow.  I hope he likes his card.  Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

Happy Hula Birthday

Happy Birthday America!

I am so excited that we have finally seen the sun here in NH.  It has been raining for so long I feel waterlogged :)  So after a hot and humid (not complaining) 4th of July with friends, I sat down and colored this little cutie.  I decided to make it for a birthday card ... maybe for my husband.  Isn't she sexy with her hula dress and coconut bra?

I am entering her into the Saturated Canary Challenge - Celebration

Now for the "deets".  I used my copic airbrush on the background behind the image and used my colorless blender to texturize it.  She is colored with copics.  The background is done with the TJ Newsletter technique called Copic Stencils.  I love the way it came out.  The Happy Birthday circle is from Stampin Up!

I hope you like her...hope my hubby likes her too :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a craft day!

Have a sweet day!

Here is a card I made for this weeks Technique Junkies try that technique called "Stained Embossing".

The image is from Beccys Place...it's a freebie you can get here (http://beccysplace.blogspot.com/2011/01/chocolate-strawberries.html).

I colored the strawberries with copics (tutorial from Jennifer Dove).  I made the tag on my computer, cut it out with my spellbinders and added some distress ink.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a crafty day!
